Business/Commercial Mediation and Corporate Negotiation Fee Rates ...
CRG's base fee schedule for mediations and corporate negotiations is as follows: $150 per party per hour with 2 parties; $120 per party per hour with 3 parties and $100 per party per hour with 4 parties. A "party" is defined as one or more persons or entitites who have a common interest and who are represented by a single attorney or lawfirm (or lead counsel and local counsel).
Travel Rates ...
There is never a travel time charge for services conducted in Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade counties in South Florida. For services conducted outside these three counties the charge for travel time will be fairly negotiated and then divided equally by the number of parties. If an overnight stay is necessary, lodging and food will be billed at their actual cost.
Payment terms ...
Credit is extended only to legal counsel who are primarily responsible for payment. As a result, counsel are requested to have their clients bring a check or credit card to the mediation, or to obtain sufficient retainer funds from their clients in order to cover the mediation fees. Checks should be made out to "The Charles River Group, LLC"
Mediation Scheduled Start Times ...
Mediations are typically scheduled in Half Day, 3.5 hour blocks, Monday through Saturday. The first block is from 8:30am - 12:00pm. The second block is from 1:30pm - 5:00pm. Full Day mediations begin at 8:30am and continue until complete.
Cancellation Policy ...
Cancellation fees NEVER apply if another mediation is able to be scheduled in place of the canceled mediation (in the same time slot/s on the same day). However, for all cases where the time slot/s are unable to be filled ... If scheduled for a half day, a cancellation fee of two hours time will be charged at the applicable hourly rate if canceled less than fourteen (14) full calendar days before the scheduled Mediation date. If scheduled for a whole day, a cancellation fee of four hours will be charged at the applicable hourly rate if canceled less than fourteen (14) full calendar days before the scheduled Mediation date. Cancellation fees will be billed to the parties requesting the cancellation. Cancellation fees apply regardless of whether the mediation being canceled is, or is to be, rescheduled. If a mediation is scheduled 14 or fewer days before the scheduled date and is then canceled, the cancellation fee will apply if canceled less than 7 full calendar days before the scheduled date. If a mediation is scheduled 7 or fewer days before the scheduled date and is then canceled, no cancellation fee will be due.
